Job Full Description

Our client in Wickliffe has an immediate need for a Slurry Tech.  This is a Temp to Hire position and is on 2nd shift however they may train on 1st Shift.

Essential Functions:

  • Keep Manufacturing supplied with required approved slurries at all times through formulation, maintenance and testing of binders and IGT slurry tanks

  • Formulate Low Pressure Slurry and maintain slurry tanks as defined by written procedures
  • Perform standard tests for slurry and binder properties at required intervals as defined by written procedures
  • Clean and maintain slurry tanks, alcohol rinse buckets, ladles, mixing blades, tabletops, scales and other equipment
  • Sweep work area floors at least once per shift

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read and write and do basic mathematical problems-bidders will be tested
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision
  • Must have good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and internal employees
