Our clients are seeking experienced Machine Maintenance Technicians to join dynamic teams in the Painesville, Willoughby Hills, and Wickliffe areas. These positions span various industries, including aerospace and food manufacturing, and offer an excellent opportunity for long-term career growth.
As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure smooth operations. Candidates with a strong electrical aptitude, solid work history, and years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled inspections and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Electrical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Proven work history as a Machine Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
- Able to complete PM's efficiently
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, blueprints and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Tooling Interpretation (Micrometers, Calipers & Gauges)
- Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
