Lead Machine Operator – 3rd Shift #COH
$23.00 per Hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Overview:
Our client in Novelty, OH is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Machine Operator to oversee production on 3rd shift. This role involves operating and troubleshooting machinery, guiding a team to meet production goals, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Forklift experience is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support machine operators to ensure smooth production flow.
- Set up, operate, and monitor machines for optimal performance.
- Train and mentor team members on machine operation and safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the facility.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate with supervisors and other departments to optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.
- Forklift experience and certification required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
