Job Summary:
We are recruiting for a friendly, tech-savvy IT Help Desk Technician to join our Client’s Information Systems Department (ISD) in Sidney, OH. In this 1st shift, full-time position, you will provide top-notch technical support to internal users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring systems, and maintaining a variety of IT equipment.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 2+ years of IT support or Help Desk experience who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fast and effective technical support via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Configure and install computers, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, and barcoding equipment.
- Support end users with desktop, mobile, and barcode scanning technologies.
- Guide users through system configurations and repairs remotely or onsite.
- Document solutions and maintain up-to-date technical records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and patient attitude.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of IT Help Desk or Technical Support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for technology and eagerness to learn
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Experience supporting hardware, printers, mobile devices, and barcoding equipment is a plus
