Production Welder
$18/hour
7:15 am to 4 pm Mon-Fri
Production Welder (MIG/Arc) Wanted
Local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Welder to join their welding team immediately. This is a full-time position for MIG and Arc welding on an assembly line.
Production Welder Responsibilities:
- Operate MIG and Arc welding equipment to weld metal components and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and welding symbols
- Position, fit and tack-weld parts for welding fabrication
- Cut and prepare metal parts for welding using torches and tools
- Assemble welding sub-assemblies according to specifications
- Maintain and perform basic preventative maintenance on welding equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE
Production Welder Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of proven MIG welding and Arc welding experience in a production environment
- Technical knowledge of welding processes, codes and metallurgy
- Skilled in operating welding equipment like MIG and stick welders
- Competent in using metal cutting tools like plasma cutters and torches
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions precisely
- High school diploma or equivalent, welding certification preferred
