Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and analytical professional responsible for managing and optimizing our complex supply chain operations, with a specific focus on inventory management, cost control, and quality assurance in food and supplement manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage end-to-end inventory control processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Conduct detailed cost and quality analyses to identify optimization opportunities
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, packaging, and procurement teams to streamline production workflows
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory tracking and reporting systems
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and industry regulatory standards for food and supplement manufacturing
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of supply chain experience in food, nutraceutical, or supplement manufacturing
  • Proven track record of inventory optimization and cost reduction
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and supply chain management software
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and packaging logistics
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities

Helpful Qualifications

  • Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ERP and advanced inventory management systems
  • Background in quality assurance and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing principles
