Employment Type: Full-time (M-F) 8am-4pm - ONSITE
Our client is a small yet dynamic manufacturing plant with a dedicated team of six professionals. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations, administrative tasks, and support our production team by coordinating labor needs. This role is critical in ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management.
Financial Management:
- Accounts Payable (A/P):
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable (A/R):
- Create and send invoices to customers.
- Track incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Payroll:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Tax Paperwork:
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax documents as required.
- Assist with year-end reporting and audits.
Administrative Support:
- Office Supplies:
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Ensure the office is stocked and organized for efficient operations.
- Labor Coordination:
- Serve as the primary liaison with Express Employment Professionals to coordinate general labor needs.
- Ensure timely placement of temporary workers and maintain related records.
QuickBooks Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
