Job Summary
The Scheduling & Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing the scheduling of templating crews, installation crews, deliveries, and shop production while also handling procurement for materials and office supplies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency by utilizing the company's ERP system for scheduling, tracking, and purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate templating crews, ensuring accurate and timely site visits.
- Manage the installation crew schedules, optimizing routes and workloads.
- Schedule and track deliveries, ensuring on-time and accurate fulfillment.
- Oversee stone shop production scheduling, aligning workload with project deadlines.
- Schedule solid surface shop production, balancing capacity and efficiency.
Procurement & Inventory Management
- Purchase necessary materials and supplies for shop and office operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in the ERP system to avoid shortages or overages.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and supplier performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in scheduling, production coordination, or procurement (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems for scheduling and purchasing.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction industries.
- Knowledge of stone, solid surface materials, or similar industries.
