Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on a variety of small engines, such as those found in lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, spark plug replacements, and air filter cleaning
• Inspect and test engines to ensure proper functioning
• Document repairs and maintenance work accurately
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools and equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of small engine mechanics and repair techniques
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
