Job Full Description
A manufacturing company in Mineral Ridge, OH is looking for an experienced Welder to join their team.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hr BOE
Shift: This is a 1st shift position. M-TH 6am-4:30pm. Must have availability for OT on Friday if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Have brake press operating experience
- Have experience with oxy fuel burn tables
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Take measurements to plan layouts
- Set up welding machine according to specifications
- Weld components using semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Test all machine welds to ensure quality
- Hand weld any leaks found during the quality penetration die test
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+ years welding experience
- Read a tape measure
- Welding certs a plus
- Dependable and reliable
- Good attendance and positive attitude
- Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form
- Ability to push, pull or lift 50 lbs regularly
