Overview
Wiring\electrical background, ability to read schematics, Assemble Components, Test Components, Ability in blueprint reading. Connecting a number of electronic components (i.e., 'circuit elements', 'discrete components', integrated circuits, etc.) together to perform (a) specific function(s), replaceable as an entity and normally capable of being disassembled.
Duties
- Assemble and fabricate mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet specifications
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the assembly area
Skills
- Proficiency with using an ohmmeter for testing electrical components
- Experience with electrical wiring and PCB assembly
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions accurately
- Knowledge of electrical systems and IPC 610 standards would be advantageous
