Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Mechanic in the Oklahoma City area. This position will consist of inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of vehicles, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble engine components, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical parts
- Perform cutting and fabrication tasks to repair or modify metal components
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Using hand and power tools
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: $20/HR+ DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM
Requirements:
- Providing own tools a plus
- Previous experience with mechanical work
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Previous experience with hand and power tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
