Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local hospital. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, inspect equipment, and maintain the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintaining aesthetics of the facility, such as paint, wall vinyl, floor tile, mill work, counter tops, hand rails, and ceiling tile.
• Maintaining life safety features such as fire system suppression, fire alarm, and smoke fire partitions.
• Operating hand and power tools.
• Responding to emergency repairs as needed.
• Performing inspections and reporting to the facility manager to develop a plan.

Pay: $15-$18/HR DOE

Schedule: 7AM-3:30PM. May be required to work rotating weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Proven experience working as a maintenance technician
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to organize tasks and work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. above shoulders
