Job Title: Steel Yard & General Labor
We are seeking qualified candidates that are able to work both independently and as part of a team as well as being highly motivated and hard-working. These roles work internally with other staff and management to complete daily production and fulfillment goals. These team oriented roles will commonly perform routine tasks in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Steel Yard and Laborer position job duties include, but are not limited to:
Receiving steel material and maintaining inventory, operating automatic steel band saw, perform counts of incoming material and maintain material cut sheets to insure 100% accuracy, read a tape measure and understand fractions, operate yard crane and forklifts.
Cleaning, grinding and inspection of parts, general cleaning of shops.
Manufacturing position job duties include but are not limited to:
Product preparation
Manual Labor and Operating machinery
General Housekeeping
Qualifications preferred:
Attention to detail
Able to stay on feet for long periods of time
Able to read, write, and count
Basic math skills - fractions and read a tape measure
Able to pass a drug screening and background check
Able to drive a forklift and yard crane
Safety Conscious
Team oriented
Able to lift 50 pounds
