Position Summary:
The Office Manager will oversee the daily administrative operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and organization. The ideal candidate will manage office resources, maintain accurate financial records, and support the leadership team. QuickBooks proficiency is essential for this role to handle bookkeeping and financial reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, supplies management, and staff coordination.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and expense tracking.
- Maintain records, organize filing systems, and ensure data accuracy.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors, clients, and team members.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and maintaining HR records.
- Coordinate office events, meetings, and communications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic accounting principles.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Preferred:
- Experience in lumber industry.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations.
