Jessie Straub

Business Developer

Jessie, originally from Salem, Oregon, moved to Albany after proposing to his beautiful wife. Prior to his arrival at Express in July 2022, Jessie had gained experience in sales and construction, but his passion for assisting others ultimately led him to his current role as a Business Developer.

Not only is Jessie highly reliable in his professional life, but he also excels in his role as a father to two energetic children. He takes immense pride in being a dedicated youth sports coach and "Dance Dad"!

Klaudia Bartels

Lead Employment Specialist

"The most rewarding part of working for Express is seeing someone walk out of here happy and knowing I was able to find them a job they will enjoy doing."

In January 2022, Express Albany welcomed Klaudia Bartels to the team. She is a hardworking, motivated, and ambitious person. Klaudia came to Express with five years of experience working at a tanning salon under her belt, three of which were spent as the salon manager.

Klaudia was born and raised in Salem, OR and then moved to California where she lived for about eight years. She moved back to Salem after that and has been there ever since. When she's not working hard at the Express, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, boyfriend, and step son. Klaudia is very close with her mom, dad, sister, and brother, all of whom currently live in California.

Amanda Schaffner

Major Account Manager

Amanda’s Express journey began in July of 2023. She came with 2+ years experience in the staffing industry and 3 years in the HR field. She is caring, organized, respectful, and has excellent time management skills. She’s also got a knack for creating art.

Originally from a small town in Northern Carolina, Amanda moved to Oregon when she was 13. She now lives in the Lebanon area with her husband, son, and their pets. She spends her time outside of work on hiking trails, going to Ducks football games every fall season, and finding new ways to let out her creativity.
