Job Full Description

This is a fully onsite role based in Redmond, Oregon.  

The COO is a managing director of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic direction, operations, and performance of the organization across all departments. This role works closely with the CEO and CFO, other executives, and manages departmental leaders to develop and execute business strategies, ensure operational excellence, and that all business activities contribute to company growth while driving long-term growth. This involves vigilant monitoring of talent developments, risk management, and fostering effective coordination between departments to ensure operational efficiency and timely resolution of challenges.

What You Get to Do! 
Operational Leadership:
•    Collaborate with the CEO, CSO, CFO, and leadership team to develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals and organizational initiatives and constant innovation
•    Analyze market trends, competition, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
•    Partner with the CEO and CFO to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, contracts, and financial plans.
•    Evaluate business investments, cost management initiatives, and revenue opportunities.
•    Develop, cultivate and ensure a high-performance corporate culture that optimizes production, enhances performance, ensures operational continuity, and drives profitability and fiscal health.
•    Provide leadership and guidance to department heads to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.
•    Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
•    Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Strategic Departmental and Operational Leadership
•    Create an organizational-wide environment conducive to peak-performing professional contributions, regularly holding Directors accountable to achieving departmental KPIs and goals through employee performance and accountability, oversight, and development.
•    Advise on the organizational chart and structure, ensuring it aligns with current and future business needs and growth objectives.
•    Constantly assess and monitor operational metrics, offering feedback, and identifying opportunities and roadblocks to growth
•    Advise on hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations in partnership with Directors and Human Resources to ensure smooth transitions and proper human resources to accomplish organizational initiatives
•    Monitor and maintain organizational culture, safeguarding positive elements that drive company success while identifying and addressing issues that hinder progress.
•    Remain attuned to the evolving needs of the organization, integrating these insights into departmental priorities to ensure alignment with long-term goals, and overseeing the implementation of new policies, processes, and innovative solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and organizational growth.
•    Ensure processes are standardized and designed to drive consistent revenue generation, ensure legal compliance, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
•    Maintain a thorough understanding of regulations and compliance requirements related to comprehensive licensing and contractual obligations within the senior care industry.

Risk Management and Compliance:
•    Ensure the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
•    Ensuring that the company is always in compliance with the latest industry regulations and standards.
•    Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the company’s reputation, performance, or operations.
•    Handle executive level company meetings to discuss key employee relations and employee legal issues.

 

What You Will Bring…
•    Education – Masters or Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, people and culture, human resources management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
•    Experience – 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including executive roles.
•    Strong knowledge of the company’s industry and competitive landscape.
•    Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
•    Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
•    Proven track record in managing large teams and driving business growth.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•    Experience in strategic planning and execution.
•    Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
•    Thorough knowledge of best practices for handling PHI as governed by HIPAA
•    Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
•    Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
•    Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
•    Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
•    Outstanding attention to detail, project management, documentation, organizational and planning skills.
•    Ability to take initiative and work independently.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a commitment to reach goals and meet deadlines.
•    Exceptional time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
