What You Get to Do! 
As the Employee Relations Manager, you will facilitate and manage employee relations on behalf of the company.  You will be responsive for overseeing and managing employee relationships within the company, primarily by investigating and resolving workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary issues while ensuring compliance with employment laws, providing guidance to managers on employee relations practices, and promoting positive communications between employees and the organization; essentially acting as a mediator and advisor to maintain a healthy work environment. This role requires a visionary, results-oriented leader with a strong strategic mindset, quick and creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, and the agility to navigate a fast-paced and evolving business environment. 
•    Champion Safety and Compliance – Lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture, actively driving and supporting safety initiatives while ensuring all HR programs align with safety objectives.
•    Ensure HR Compliance & Labor Relations Excellence –Apply knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and labor relations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws while mitigating risk and protecting company interests. Research and explain laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors, and employees.
•    Lead Strategic Employee Relations – Partner with regional leadership to investigate and resolving employee complaints including strategies to develop and implement best practices for engagement, retention, and offboarding, aligning with business goals in a timely and effective manner. Partnering with senior business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs.
•    Provide Expert HR Guidance – Act as a strategic advisor on complex, sensitive HR matters, including accommodations, workplace investigations, labor disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring legal compliance and ethical decision-making.
•    Provide Training to Upskill our Workforce – Develop and source needed training for various audiences with regard to employee relations matters from basic employment law and risk mitigation areas to specific needs in various HR areas. Advises and trains managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances. Develops further training as needed. 
•    Foster Culture & Organizational Development – Assess company culture, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives to reinforce values, increase engagement, and build a high-performing organization that supports business success. Collating and analyzing employee feedback and surveys from across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
•    Implement HR Best Practices & Performance Metrics – Drive HR operational excellence by establishing KPIs, leading process improvements, and implementing industry best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Partner with Operations for Strategic HR Planning – Collaborate with operations leaders to align HR initiatives with business priorities, ensuring HR strategies support operational goals and workforce demands.
•    Ensure Agility & Responsiveness – Maintain the ability to travel on short notice to support business needs across the states in which we operate.

What You Will Bring…
•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
•    Five or more years of proven progressive HR experience, including at least three years handling investigations/employee relations matters.
•    Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance regulations.
•    Expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and policy administration.
•    Experience leading organizational change initiatives and culture transformation.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships at all levels.
•    Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly and professionally. 
•    Professional HR certification(s) (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
•    Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards), HRIS (e.g., UKG), or other HR systems.
•    Proficiency in HRIS and ability to analyze HR metrics and data for decision-making.
•    Experience in developing or implementing employee engagement strategies, training and development programs, and employee surveys preferred.
•    Ability to travel as needed.  A valid driver’s license is required.
