Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an Electromechanical Production Associate to work for an industrious aerospace manufacturer! Essential job functions:
- Assembling and testing products according to work order specifications and production schedule
- Identify manufacturing issues and troubleshooting them appropriately
- Separate and discard defected material
- Keeping regular records of manufacturing data, including assembly times, as well as fail/ pass results
- Sustain workplace organization per an established 6S program
What we look for:
- Min. 1 year electromechanical assembly experience
- Experience and ability to work with small hand tools / measuring devices (hand press, calipers, etc)
- Ability to identify and efficiently handle small parts
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced production-like setting
- Proficient on computers – experience using MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
- Able to identify all colors – will be required to take a color perception and near vision test
- Effective communicator – written and verbally with all levels of employees
- Team player – can work effectively with a team and / or independently
- Soldering certified (preferred, not required)
- Can read and understand wiring and circuitry schematics (preferred, not required)
- Associates degree in electronics (preferred, not required)
- Able to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical devices (preferred, not required)
- Experience with MRP/ ERP systems (preferred, not required)
- Familiar with basic video formats and functional testing (preferred, not required)
This position can be physically demanding, requiring constant re-positioning oneself to effectively build products, working with noisy / loud equipment. Lifting/ moving of up to 50 lbs from one department to another.
