Express Employment Professionals is looking to hire several MIG Welders to work for an industry- leading machinery equipment manufacturing company right here in Eugene! This is an Evaluation-to-Hire opportunity. Selected candidate will have the potential to be a long-term employee at one of the best lean manufacturing companies in town. Duties will Include:
- Welding and fitting components and parts for heavy equipment.
- Welding MIG and dual shield up to 1” plate.
- Reading blueprints and measuring for precision.
- Operate overhead crane and forklift.
- Meet production deadlines with efficiency and quality.
- Use basic fabrication tools, saws, grinders, drill press, etc.
- Operate pneumatic tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Team player who is consistent and takes ownership of work.
- 3+ years of Welding and Fabricating experience.
- MIG welding and Dual Shield using .052 wire (hard wire & outer shield).
- Out of position welding experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Able to pass a weld test
- Excellent Punctuality and Attendance.
- Will be standing 8+ hours a day.
- Capable of consistently lifting 50lbs.
- Must have own welding hood, gloves and steel toed boots.
