Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaper with a valid driver’s license and access to a car to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape design and maintenance, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks, ensuring that our clients' properties are beautifully maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching.
- Design and install landscapes, including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscaping features such as patios and walkways.
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Assist in seasonal landscaping projects, such as spring clean-ups and fall leaf removal.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
- Drive to various job sites with a personal vehicle to transport tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable car for commuting to job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscaping principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
- Good physical stamina and strength; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
