CNC Machinist
Location: Portland, OR
Overview:
Our local client company specializing in the manufacturing of lift truck attachments, forks, and accessories is looking to expand their team with a skilled CNC Machinist for Swing Shift. This is a long-term, direct hire position offering a stable career path.
Duties:
- Operate CNC machines while testing and proving out new programs.
- Ensure quality by checking tooling, setups, program coordinates, and other specifications.
- Edit and correct programs as needed to maintain part quality.
- Analyze and optimize tooling, setups, and procedures, offering recommendations for improvement.
Pay:
$22.08 - $28.50 per hour (DOE), plus a $1.14 per hour shift differential.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Preferred: Two-year machining technology degree.
- Experience with horizontal mill setups, preferably on FANUC controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
