Payroll / Accounting Specialist
Gresham, OR
Are you ready for your next long term opportunity?
A local Gresham CPA firm is searching for a Payroll Specialist who will have core responsibilities in processing client payroll and assisting with accounting duties during the slow season. This position is vital within the company as you will be managing multiple aspects of the client portfolios. You will work independently, taking the lead on company reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource on MS QuickBooks, financial reporting, and client management.
Position Highlights:
- Primarily will be processing payroll for client accounts
- During slower times, you will be helping with accounting duties
- Helping answer client questions & communicating with customers about any concerns
- Auditing accounts and helping prepare clients’ portfolios for tax season
Pay Rate: $25-28/HR, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Qualifications:
- Payroll experience required
- Accounting experience required
- Positive attitude with flexibility
- Experience with QuickBooks & Microsoft Suites
- Tax preparation experience is a plus!
