Soldering Technician
Portland, OR
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Soldering Technician to join our client’s team in Portland, OR. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, offering the chance to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing soldering tasks on various components, ensuring high-quality assembly and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering of electronic components to circuit boards and other hardware.
- Inspect solder joints for quality and precision.
- Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for soldering techniques.
- Operate soldering equipment and tools to complete the work accurately.
- Troubleshoot and correct soldering errors and defects.
- Ensure that the final product meets quality standards.
- Wire-free hang required: Ensure proper wire-free hanging of components where applicable to prevent damage during assembly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in soldering and assembling electronic components.
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Schedule:
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
