Mechanical Assembly - Swing

Must train on days for 2 months before moving to swing!

Pay: $22.00 / hour + Shift Differential

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 am - 1:00 am, must be willing to work Overtime!

Position Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Some experience in manufacturing or assembly environment, with exposure to swaging is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and swaging tools.
Ability to read and understand basic assembly drawings and instructions.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Must be able to wear all required PPE, including work boots.

Job Description:

Component Assembly:
- Read and interpret basic assembly drawings, diagrams and instructions.
- Assemble components and parts using appropriate tools, fixtures, and equipment, employing swaging techniques as needed.
- Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.
Quality Control:
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure assembled products meet quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies in product components and assembly to the supervisor.
Tool Maintenance:
- Use hand tools like screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, wrenches, and swaging tools.
- Ensure tools are kept in good condition and report any malfunctioning tools to the supervisor.
Workstation Maintenance:
- Keep the workstation organized and clean.
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Documentation:
- Maintain records of completed assemblies as necessary.
- Report daily productivity and any issues faced during assembly.
Continuous Improvement:
- Attend training sessions to enhance mechanical skills, swaging techniques and knowledge.
- Provide feedback on assembly processes to improve efficiency.
