Forklift Operator
*Previous Lumber Experience is Required*
Pay: $20.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Description:
- Operate large forklifts to load lumber pallets onto the delivery trucks
- Load and unload lumber with lift truck
- Moving large loads on lumber onto delivery trucks
- Put together lumber packages
- Maneuver heavy objects
- Use two-way radio
- Inspect equipment before and during operation
- Read and understand instruments on equipment, follow safety procedures, read and understand paperwork from shipping and receiving
Requirements:
- Must be proficient on a lift truck and 6 months minimum lift truck experience
- Ability to perform 4-function math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Previous lumber experience is preferred
- Minimum age 20+ to apply
- High degree of attention required
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
- Good sense of balance
- Good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
- Will be working in and outdoors
