Machine Operator
Pay: $20.00 / hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:15 PM - 11:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Machine Operator for the composite side of a dynamic and innovative precision manufacturing company in Hillsboro. This team specializes in advanced tooling and fixture solutions to support printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, as well as custom machined parts. Their composite department focuses on working with a variety of materials—including metal and plastic composites—to produce high-precision components through CNC machining.

Job Description:
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, with a focus on vertical milling
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T symbols
- Measure and inspect machined parts using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision and quality
- Handle composite materials and assist in production of custom parts to spec
- Collaborate with the team and follow safety procedures at all times
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Experience with CNC machining required (Haas CNC vertical mill experience preferred—but training is available for the right candidate)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and able to work independently
