Looking for a fulfilling role where you can positively impact children's lives right here in the Klamath Falls area? We're on the hunt for a Program Manager who can join us in our mission to support children’s literacy and bring communities together through the power of reading.

 

What You’ll Do:
As the Program Manager, you’ll be based out of our Klamath Falls office, focusing on recruiting and supporting volunteers to bring reading programs to local schools. Your work will include building relationships with schools and families, coordinating volunteer efforts, and inspiring community members to be a part of this amazing statewide program. This role is a fantastic fit for someone who’s passionate about literacy and skilled at managing volunteers and partnerships.

 

Ideal Candidate:
Do you have experience working with schools or community groups? Do you love connecting with people and motivating others to get involved? Great! Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A self-starter who can juggle multiple tasks and stay organized.
  • Strong communication skills to rally volunteers and build lasting relationships with schools.
  • A commitment to equity and inclusivity in all interactions and program efforts.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a bonus!

Details You’ll Want to Know:

  • Temporary position through June 2025, 20 hours/week, $20/hour.
  • Flexible scheduling: potential hybrid work option after an initial on-site period.
  • Travel required within Klamath and Lake Counties, from Chiloquin to Bly.
