Job Opportunity: Administrative & Technical Support Specialist
Department: Claims and Loss Prevention
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and eager to support vital business functions? Join our team as an Administrative & Technical Support Specialist! This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety and want to make a real impact in claims and loss prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orientation Support: Help guide insureds and brokers through the orientation process by coordinating teleconferences, updating resource materials, and providing key data to third-party administrators (TPAs).
- Compliance & Communication: Ensure compliance with state mandates by preparing essential reports and supporting programs
- Data Management: Maintain and update databases for insured policies, contact information, and workflows. Oversee CRM systems and distribute safety bulletins.
- Quarterly Claims Review: Assist in scheduling and running claims reviews with insureds, brokers, and adjusters, while preparing and analyzing loss reports.
- Return to Work Coordination: Support injured employees by managing light-duty job offers, processing timecards, and coordinating program resources.
- Claims Support: Assist with scanning, forwarding documents, gathering medical records, and coordinating follow-up appointments.
- General Administrative Tasks: Answer calls, manage system users, update distribution lists, and order supplies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred. Experience in Workers’ Compensation or insurance claims is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
