They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize the organization’s day-to-day functions.

 

Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will play a critical role in overseeing the nonprofit’s daily operations and ensuring the seamless delivery of impactful programs. This position requires a strategic and organized leader with proven experience in operational management and a passion for serving youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage all operational functions, including program support, facilities, administration, and technology.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to establish and execute operational strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective practices to maximize impact.
  • Policy Development: Create and enforce operational policies to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Program Support: Partner with program leaders to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with programmatic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key point of contact for operational matters, building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of operational management experience, ideally within the nonprofit or youth services sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in budgeting and financial oversight.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
