Job Title: Hardware Counter/Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Hardware Counter/Customer Service Representative to join a dynamic team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with their hardware and supply needs, answering questions, and providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the counter with product inquiries and purchases.
- Provide expert guidance on hardware products, tools, and materials.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the counter and showroom area.
- Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management.
- Handle phone inquiries and provide product recommendations or information.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience, preferably in retail or hardware supply.
- Basic knowledge of hardware, tools, or construction materials is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
