Automotive Technician – Transmission Specialist
Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Pay: $18–$22+ per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Automotive Technician for a local transmission shop. We are seeking a reliable and skilled technician with experience in transmission repair and diagnostics. Some experience is preferred, but the shop is willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild transmissions
- Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance
- Inspect vehicles to determine necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures and shop standards
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Some experience in transmission repair or general automotive work preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
- Must be 18 years or older
