Job Full Description
General Summary: In conformance with established policies and procedures, perform a variety of powder coating production, ordering, and quality control functions.
Essential Job Functions: (Applicant/Employee must have the ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.)
- Ability to quickly and accurately operate the powder coating production software.
- Ability to quickly and accurately verify formulas and determine swatch needs.
- Ability to quickly and accurately pull raw materials and weigh additives.
- Correctly and safely operate all powder coating production equipment.
- Fill raw material containers on a proactive basis.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and entire production area.
- Correct packaging, bagging (double when required), sealing and labeling of produced material and QC sample.
- Ensure production log and end of day duties form are completed and turned in prior to leaving each day.
- Follow Work Priorities List. (Lead has ability to make adjustments to maximize productivity and reduce inefficiencies)
- Ability to quickly and accurately shoot QC Panels
- Ability to quickly and accurately prepare swatch order powder
- Ability to quickly and accurately shoot swatch order Panel
Marginal Job Functions:
- Ensure all material containers are labeled and organized.
- Clean Buckets thoroughly and quickly
- Make Boxes
- Cut swatches
- Assist with special projects as requested.
- Maintain necessary supplies.
- Month-end inventory.

- Ability to learn quickly.

- Maintain a clean, organized and productive work environment.
- Ability to follow directions well, yet take initiative when necessary.

- Ability to follow all standard operating procedures and safety policies.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 50 lb containers regularly. Lifting up to 70 lb containers occasionally, boxes, or bags on occasion
- Standing for 100% of the work day.
- Moving up to 200lbs of material using a hand-truck.
- Ability to lift weight above head when required.
Bonus Structure after 30 Days:
Any bonus awarded will be paid out on the following schedule:
- Month 1 – 12.5% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 2 – 25% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 3 – 37.5% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 4 - 50% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 6 – 62.50% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 7 – 75% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 8 – 87.5% of full incentive bonus.
- Month 9 – 100% Full bonus
