Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is excited to be hiring individuals to teach ice skating lessons at the Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink! The season will start in November and conclude in February, with part time hours available (usually 6-12 hours a week). Wage will start at $21.56 per hour.
Job Duties:
- Develop and execute instructional plans for teaching basic ice skating skills, figure skating techniques, and/or hockey skills.
- Apply educational principles to ice skating and hockey instruction, adapting to various skill levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective educational programs that enhance student development and enjoyment.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in all scheduled staff and in-service trainings during the season.
- Provide clear directions to staff for task completion.
- Enforce emergency action procedures as needed.
- Adhere to department policies and expectations.
- Fulfill assigned tasks from School Group-Instruction Coordinator, Ice Rink Manager, Recreation Manager, and other Management Staff.
