Job Description: Collateral Administrator

The Collateral Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Collateral Management team throughout the recovery and remarketing processes. This position involves maintaining compliance with systems, assisting in recovery efforts, and preparing detailed reports for the Collateral Manager. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. The wage range is $18-$19!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and complete the repossession assignment checklist before vehicle assignments.
  • Process impound checklists and coordinate with the Collateral Management team for repossession decisions.
  • Update the loan management system with accurate information following vehicle recovery.
  • Prepare and review required repossession letters for customer communication.
  • Conduct SCRA (Servicemembers Civil Relief Act) searches as needed during recovery and remarketing.
  • Retrieve and store relevant information from third-party systems into the loan management system.
  • Process service contract cancellations with a high level of accuracy.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for repossessed vehicles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Windows).
  • Previous experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with outbound calls or collections is advantageous.
