Job Full Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Skilled Construction Laborer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction, a solid understanding of safety protocols, and a passion for quality craftsmanship. This role involves assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of residential construction, including framing, roofing, siding, drywall, and finishing.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project requirements.
- Perform demolition and site preparation tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential construction or a similar role is required.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
