Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Electrical Designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge offroad vehicles. Your role will encompass a blend of CAD design work and hands-on assembly of electrical harnesses within the company's electrical shop.
Key Responsibilities:
CAD Design (70%):
- Utilize CAD software to create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure designs meet technical specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation packages for electrical components and systems.
Hands-On Assembly (30%):
- Actively participate in the assembly of wiring harnesses and electrical components for offroad vehicles.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues during the assembly process.
- Conduct rigorous testing and inspection to uphold the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production staff.
- Offer valuable input and feedback on design enhancements and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in project meetings and engage in problem-solving discussions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay current with industry regulations and standards pertaining to automotive electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in automotive technology, offroad vehicles, or related fields.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
