Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Need in NE Portland, Gresham, SW Portland
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of our residential properties. This includes responding to maintenance requests, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring a safe environment for residents and employees.

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 Per hour DOE
Schedule: DAY SHIFT – Mon-Fri, 8 AM – 5PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance tasks as required, including repairs or replacements, painting, appliance repair, cleaning, grounds upkeep and maintenance, pool/spa maintenance, etc.
- Ensure all assigned work on vacant apartments is completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet company timeframes. Report any delays immediately to supervisor.
- Handle maintenance requests on an immediate on-call basis, which may involve after-business hours, if possible, and adhere to maintenance priorities.
- Perform work safely to protect both residents and employees, particularly when dealing with hazardous materials, power equipment, ladders, etc.
- Maintain accurate timecard and payroll records as required by the company.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures concerning operations.
- Follow the directives of the Resident Manager/Maintenance Supervisor.
- Comply with safety policies and the directions of the Safety Committee.
- Willingly participate in maintenance training sessions to further develop skills as requested by the company.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
-Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, and equipment.
-Ability to handle various maintenance tasks efficiently and independently.
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work safely.
