Job Posting: Box Truck Driver (16 ft or 26 ft)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Box Truck Driver to join our team! In this role, you will drive a 16 ft or 26 ft box truck to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups. You’ll be responsible for navigating routes posted the night before, managing paperwork and delivery sign-offs, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a 16 ft or 26 ft box truck to complete daily deliveries and pickups based on assigned routes.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately, including obtaining customer signatures and delivery confirmations.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service during all interactions with clients.
- Perform daily inspections of the truck to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Frequently load and unload items (up to 50 lbs) and be prepared to get in and out of the truck multiple times per day.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recent experience driving a box truck.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and DOT Medical Card.
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail, especially when handling paperwork.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-oriented.
