Job Full Description
Are you a skilled Delivery Driver with a CDL Class A license? Don't miss this fantastic opportunity through Express Employment Professionals. Join our team and take on the following responsibilities:
- Safely transport bagged concrete products, blocks, mortar, and other materials to customer locations and job sites.
- Load the truck efficiently to ensure accurate product orders and correct weight distribution.
- Maintain meticulous records, including driver's daily log, truck log (Motive ELD), fuel tickets, and delivery documentation, in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the truck and trailer(s), performing daily pre and post-trip checks as required by DOT, CSA, and FMCSA regulations.
- Secure loads following standard industry practices and adhere to DOT, CSA, and FMCSA regulations.
- Take on additional duties and responsibilities related to the job as needed.
Requirements:
If you have the following qualifications, this opportunity is for you:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CDL Class A with doubles endorsement and clean MVR.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable flatbed experience; doubles experience is a plus.
- Prior forklift experience is required, as drivers will be loading their trucks.
- Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Dependable regular attendance is essential.
- Flexibility in hours of availability to meet seasonal delivery demands.
- Compliance with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Professional and courteous interaction with customers.
- Strong knowledge of local areas and commercial delivery routes.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure good working order of the truck and associated equipment.
Compensation:
This opportunity offers competitive compensation:
- Payrate: $30-$32/hour.
- $2500 Signing Bonus.
