Full time, M-F Day shift

$20-32/HR (DOE)

 

As a Maintenance Millwright, you will work and collaborate with a team of millwrights, electricians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, and reliability focused maintenance practices. You are responsible for attending and participating in team meetings & trainings, identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues, coordinating activities with production teams to maximize productivity and minimize cost, and reducing waste while proactively addressing reliability concerns.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·          Work with the team to proactively identify safety issues and take measures to address concerns.

·          Actively participate in maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work completion

·          Contribute by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

·          Lead and ensure compliance with safety initiatives.

·          Utilize predictive and preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.

·          Participate in training processes to build the team's technical skills.

·          Identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.

·          Utilize computer-based programs to prioritize maintenance requests, maintenance inventory management, and maintenance resource delegation.

·          Operate Lath, milling machine, drill press, pipe threader, band saw, etc.

·          Ability to design and/or fabricate

·          Other tasks as needed

 

Qualifications

·          High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

·          Minimum of four years' experience in Industrial Mechanical work

·          Knowledgeable in the areas of hydraulics, air systems, mechanical drives, mechanical components, installation methods, troubleshooting and repair techniques and methods, welding, and basic industrial electrical.

·          Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods

·          Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.

·          Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programs and internet skills

·          Knowledge of Maintenance Planning software such as SAP preferred

·          Lift and/or pull 50lbs.

·          Willingness to work in various locations and conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces.

·          Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
