Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in an industrial environment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Work long hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work long days and overtime as necessary.
