Job Full Description
This position is the initial contact point for individuals and families seeking information or access to resources. The Bilingual Navigation Specialist will engage potential and current customers to help them identify their specific needs and guide them through the application processes for each program or asset type, while also referring them to community resources as appropriate. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, friendly, open, professional, and dedicated to customer satisfaction. The Navigation Specialist is essential in ensuring that our clients, visitors, and residents receive exceptional guidance and support.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Previous customer service experience and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Here are some other details of the position:
- Greet, welcome, and assist clients, residents, and guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Provide accurate and timely information about company’s services, programs, and properties in both English and Spanish.
- Act as the primary point of contact for English and Spanish-speaking customers, resolving inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and efficiently. Answer incoming phone calls, voicemails, and email messages promptly and courteously, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Maintain an organized front desk and reception area, ensuring that resources are readily available for clients and guests. Address and resolve any issues or concerns, utilizing self-care techniques and employing de-escalation strategies as needed. Escalate to the Navigation Specialist Supervisor when necessary.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating with various departments. Manage conference room bookings and ensure all meeting spaces are prepared and equipped for use. Support the administrative team with special projects and events.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation. Uphold company policies and procedures, including privacy and data protection regulations, ensuring customer information remains confidential and secure.
