Job Description: Are you skilled with industrial sewing machines and looking for a full-time position in Salem, OR? Join a dedicated team in the safety sign industry, working for a local distribution company specializing in high-quality safety products. We’re looking for an Industrial Sewing Specialist who will play a key role in maintaining and repairing fabric-based safety signs, ensuring they meet our client’s strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to repair and reinforce fabric safety signs.
- Inspect materials for any defects or damages before and after sewing.
- Use hand tools as needed to complete repairs and adjustments.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily quotas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Shift & Pay:
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Pay: $16 per hour
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial sewing or textile repair.
- Ability to handle industrial sewing equipment and tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
