Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Service Department team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming calls, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and efficiently handling housing parts through computer-based systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working both on the phone and with computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from the service department's direct line.
- Transfer calls to appropriate departments promptly and accurately.
- Learn and manage housing parts effectively.
- Utilize computer systems and programs for managing parts inventory and related tasks (approximately 70% of the role involves computer work).
- Handle high call volumes during peak times (approximately 30% of the role involves phone communication).
Compensation:
- Hourly wage: $21 - $22/hour, based on experience.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shift (either 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a 4-panel UA pre-employment test.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and programs.
- Willingness to learn about housing parts and processes.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during high call volumes.
