Position: Painter
Location: Residential Facility (Indoor) Salem, Or
Duration: 1 week (with potential for extension)
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled painters to join our team for a project at a residential facility. The role involves painting interior spaces using rollers and brushes. No specialist equipment is required. Attention to detail and care around carpets and other areas that do not need painting is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint to walls, ceilings, and trim using rollers and brushes.
- Protect floors, carpets, furniture, and other surfaces from paint splatters and spills.
- Ensure a smooth and even application of paint.
- Clean-up work areas at the end of each shift.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for the entire shift.
- Capable of bending, kneeling, and reaching to paint various surfaces.
- Strength to lift and carry paint cans, ladders, and other materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise painting.
- Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in painting residential or commercial properties.
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
