Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join our wholesale distribution team in Salem, Oregon. This full-time position offers career growth opportunities and is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong sales background and industry knowledge in distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the distribution industry.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client needs and concerns.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries and orders.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and manage inventory.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track sales activities and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
- Travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance compliant with company standards.
- Proven sales background with experience in the distribution industry preferred.
- Knowledge of contractor building supply is a plus.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Strong vendor relations experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
