Our client is looking to hire an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join their warehouse team! If you’re a master at finding items and love the idea of keeping orders flowing, this job is for you. Help create a seamless experience for customers by carefully selecting and packing products, all while staying on top of inventory with precision and speed!
Job Summary:
As an Order Picker, you’ll be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You’ll work alongside the warehouse team to ensure items are accurately selected and carefully packaged, helping to maintain a smooth workflow from the shelves to the shipping dock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order slips or digital systems.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during shipment.
- Update inventory counts and notify the team of any stock discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order-picking role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and moving items throughout the day.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer skills to track inventory and orders.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
