What We’re Looking For:

  • Multi-Level Wood Construction Experience: You should be well-versed in managing multi-level wood construction projects.
  • Subcontractor Schedule Management: You’ll need experience in coordinating subcontractor schedules and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Foreman Meeting Experience: Experience running and attending foreman meetings is essential for seamless communication.
  • Safety Understanding: A strong history of ensuring safety compliance and maintaining a secure job site.
  • Quality Control: Ability to oversee and ensure the quality of the work at every stage.
  • Schedule & Production Oversight: Experience managing project schedules, setting targets, and ensuring goals are achieved.
  • Site Experience: Familiarity with projects involving parking garages, elevators, kitchens, rated walls, etc.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using project management software like Procore and understanding how to navigate the platform.
  • Ability to Interpret Drawings: You should be able to read and interpret drawings, ASIs, and RFIs to ensure everything aligns with the project’s specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce and monitor safety regulations to guarantee a safe working environment for all involved.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors to ensure high-quality work, compliance with deadlines, and a smooth workflow.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise both office and field teams, with direct oversight of about 3-5 in-office team members and 100 field personnel (sub-trades).
  • Project Scheduling & Reporting: Maintain project schedules, report progress, and resolve any emerging issues that may cause delays.
  • Material & Equipment Management: Ensure the availability and maintenance of all necessary materials and equipment on site.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the point of contact for the project manager, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Software Utilization: Use ProCore (or similar software) to track project progress, submit reports, and manage documentation.

Schedule:

  • Work Week: Monday through Friday, with flexible hours as needed to meet project needs.
