Our client is looking to hire a skilled and precision-driven Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic production team! Job Summary:
As a Press Brake Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to form, bend, and shape metal parts according to specifications. You’ll ensure high-quality, accurate results by reading blueprints and making precise adjustments. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys the craftsmanship behind metal fabrication, we want you on the team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts according to blueprints and job specifications.
  • Perform machine adjustments and calibrations to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Inspect completed parts for conformance to specifications, making any necessary adjustments.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine machine settings and sequences.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines and production goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they’re in top working condition.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, following all safety procedures and protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience operating a press brake machine or in metal fabrication is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of metalworking tools and machinery.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
  • A team-player mentality with a focus on efficiency and safety.
